The death of a loved one or family member can bring a variety of challenges. Even in the smallest estate there are plenty of practical and legal issues to sort through. These will include the immediate steps connected to registering the death, finding and reading the will correctly, liaising with financial institutions to understand the deceased’s assets, preparing inheritance tax calculations if needed, applying for probate and then collecting in the assets.  Finally we will distribute the assets in accordance with the terms of the will and will advise the executors of any tax liabilities for which they are responsible.
